Trust me I do everything I can to promote Link Wray and the Raymen.Just two weeks ago I was attending surf vs. rockabilly concert in Indy,and I kid you not all four bands played Link tunes,the two rockabilly bands covered two or three each in their sets. I yelled out “Link Wray!!” at the end of one the covers played,and some billy girl turned to me,and said “You know who Link Wray is?”,and I was thinking thee exact same thing about her.I’ve always said I’d marry the first woman who already knows about Link Wray,but sadly she was with a boyfriend.I guess it’ll be the second woman who already knows who Link Wray is!
