Don Dillard knew that , and that's why he use to play a lot of LINK WRAY on his radio show ( WDON in Wheaton ,Md. during those years. There are a lot of bands out there that are popular, but there still lacking that HOT, JUICY, SOUND....... scobie band has this sound.. For those of us who grew up with Link Wray here in Maryland in the late fifties and mid 60′s knew his ” Persona” .
