I like to mimic Link's Rumble on my Gibson 335..sounds cool..I hope Link is with Christ now. At dances, we always wanted Link...sometimes Duane, often Elvis but ALWAYS Link. That's when the real dancing began. I was lucky enough to see him live several times, mostly in smaller clubs, and he blew the room away every time. He was a one-of-a-kind original who broke uncut ground for hundreds to follow, many of whom are in the Hall already. Vote him in NOW and knock off the childish nonsense. Having done a Surf show in Cleveland for 4 years, I can ultimately attest to the enormous influence this legendary performer had not only on the instrumental surf genre, but on shaping rock n roll for generations to come after the "first wave" of surf.
